MADD's "TIE ONE ON FOR SAFETY" Holiday Campaign
MADD's "TIE ONE ON FOR SAFETY" Holiday Campaign Asks Motorists to Pledge to Drive Safe, Sober and Buckled Up Local communities join together to make our communities safer.
This Fall MADD MN will join forces with the MN Trucking Association, Bobby & Steve’s Auto World, local law enforcement and U of MN college students to “Tie One On For Safety” at the West Bank Plaza of the U of MN Campus. This press conference will kick-off MADD’s Red Ribbon campaign as we drive forward to eliminate drunk driving in the State of Minnesota. MADD also celebrates its 25th Anniversary this year.
“By partnering with local businesses, associations and law enforcement agencies we can go into the holiday season with a positive attitude to save lives and stop drunk driving!” said Jean Mulvey, State Executive Director, MADD MN. “We invite all MADD supporters, families, victims and constituents to kick-off the press conference and celebrate our past achievements and our goals for the upcoming year. Holidays are often joyous but often for victims/survivors of drunk driving they are reminders of families and friends killed at the hands of drunk drivers. We're asking everyone to pledge to drive safe, sober and buckled up this holiday season to help ensure there are no more deaths and injuries from this preventable crime," added Mulvey.
